Gala

The TallaFesta Gala and Awards ceremony will highlight the contributions of artists, sponsors, community leaders and volunteers who make Carnival a true community event. The Gala ceremony will officially launch the opening of the Carnival festivities. The ceremony will be held on Thursday prior to the Carnival Village festivities and is typically held at a venue away from the Village, but in close proximity.

The Carnival Gala will be held on Thursday September 13th, 2007 at 6pm at the Marriott Hotel on Gaines Street.

Parade route and time
Sat. Sept. 15 – 10am - Downtown Tallahassee. Staging will be on East Call Street. Parade will proceed from Call St, then right on Monroe St, then right on Jefferson St, then right on Duvall St and unto College Ave -where it ends - at the Carnival Village.
